MaikazeDaiko, is directed by Master Taiko Artist, Bruce "Mui" Ghent, who is one of a handful of artists formally designated as a Distinguished/Outstanding Alumnus of Grandmaster Tanaka's SF Taiko Dojo & is recognized as having taught Taiko to more children in North America than anyone else. He is a Credentialed Teaching Artist for the SF Unified School District and a 2-time recepient of the Certicate of Honor by the SF Board of Supervisors and SF Supervisor, Connie Chan.
